The South East Portland Ruby Jewel Ice Cream shop began as an empty shell and is now a bustling scoop shop where you can find unique flavors made of all local ingredients.
The highlight of the project was in designing a space where we could reuse a large portion of a 100 year old barn from Silverton, OR. When you walk in the shop, you’ll immediately notice the barn wood theme… From the custom counters made of the barn’s rafters to the full wall of board and batten siding, the character rich wood creates a warm ambiance and the sense that the shop has been there for years.
Check out the shop at 428 SW 12th Ave. in Portland’s West End neighborhood (downtown, right across from Jake’s Seafood).
